Results from the 2011 GMAC Insurance National Drivers Test revealed that while 8 in 10 drivers say it is never safe to text, email or use their smart phone, an alarmingly large percentage of drivers use various features of their smart phones when operating their vehicles. Even with a number of states banning handheld cell phone use and texting while driving, nearly 50 percent of drivers admit to making phone calls while driving and about 15 percent of drivers admit to sending and reading text messages while driving. Florida Statute § 626.9744(1) requires a Florida homeowner’s property insurance to cover repair or replacement of undamaged property when it is damaged during repair. Specifically, subsection (1) of this statute (2011) states:
When a loss requires repair or replacement of an item or part, any physical damage incurred in making such repair or replacement which is covered and not otherwise excluded by the policy shall be included in the loss to the extent of any applicable limits. Simon Andrews has yet another operation
PR Kawasakis Simon Andrews has, this Christmas, undergone a fourth operation on his leg. The leg was badly broken in a crash at Snetterton last year, but doctors have finally said that Andrews is now on course to make a full recovery in time for the start of the British Superbike season at Brands Hatch this April.
Andrews is yet to confirm his road racing plans for 2012, but the success of his operation and continued recovery has significantly buoyed his 2012 hopes.

David Shapiro, the Regional Director of Excell Puget Sound is pleased to announce a brand new group catering to CEOs, Executives, and Business Owners has formed in Kitsap County. Excell Puget Sound is based out of Seattle and has several executive groups in the Puget Sound region. Mr. Shapiro has teamed with local consultant and executive coach, Dan Weedin to facilitate and lead this group.
The first workshop will take place on January 12th at the Hawks Nest Boardroom at the Clearwater Casino Hotel in Suquamish.
