Do you live in Dorking? If you do then the likelihood is that you were more than a little unhappy when your home insurance renewal premiums dropped on your door mat this year. A report on home insurance premiums recently revealed that the average rise in Dorking last year was from £119 to £174, or 46%. If there was a lot of crime, claims as a result of flooding or weather damage, or even issues with the housing there then this would be understandable. What if there were no such circumstances for the highest rise in the UK though?

The report looked at 3.4 million quotes for buildings and contents insurance and noted that there had been significant rises all over the UK but none as hefty as Dorking despite a low crime rate and no natural disasters. It

Van insurance is anything but cheap today. Expensive and often a stretch for van owners and businesses alike, premiums can cost a fortune, even after comparison via Powerseeker if you have points on your license, park your van in a notably bad postcode overnight or  have made a claim in the last year. But did you know that your expensive van insurance may just be invalid if you overcrowd your van?

Key features of cheap no-fault auto insurance quotes

While most states operate their insurance policies based on the conventional fault-based auto insurance policies, there are other states that follow a no-fault auto insurance system. This coverage is also better known as PIP and it is being followed in states like New York, Michigan, Florida, Kansas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Hawaii, New Jersey, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania etc.

As per the no-fault coverage each policyholder can recover their financial losses from their respective insurance company regardless of who was at fault. This type of coverage was set up in order to remove the fault out of the liability and in order to cover medical costs from their own insurance providers.

Generally, males between the ages of 16-25 pay more for auto insurance than females the same age. It may seem like gender discrimination but there are good reasons why:

A report on crime from the Home Office was released yesterday that produced some alarming figures regarding burglary. For once, insurance companies are not to blame for this but your fellow motorist (or at least some of them) is. With more than 3.3 million drivers being in an accident with an uninsured driver, which equates to 10% of all accidents, it is no wonder that cheap car insurance is in jeopardy as a direct result.
